At the heart of my practice is the belief that we can all make changes in our lives and deal with difficult feelings and situations with help and support. As a person-centred counsellor, I work with the client to help to change negative feelings and beliefs, and work towards making real improvements and changes. It's possible to find a real sense of self given the right conditions. I offer a safe and supportive space for clients to work in, and accept clients completely in a non-judgmental way.

John is currently training to become a psychosexual and couples/relationship therapist on a BASRT approved course and is currently undertaking a supervised placement in an NHS hospital.

Short course in working with depression and self harm.

Short course in Mindfulness training.

    Further Information

    As well as my own private practice, I have worked for more than two years in a counselling centre for young people in Horsham and the surrounding area. I also work as a counsellor at a counselling centre for adults in Horsham.
    I am also training to work with couples and individuals with psychosexual and/or relationship issues and welcome clients who need support in these areas.
