Profile

Hello. I use an integrative model of counselling which provides my clients with professional support aimed at their individual needs. Building up a trusting therapuetic relationship with my clients is an essential part of the work I do. It enables each individual or couple I work with to feel fully supported as they meet the challenge of exploring their issues, and facing their vulnerabilities. I can work with both short and long term clients.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

Qualifying Diploma in Counselling 2000.
Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy 2005
B.Ed Honours Degree 1985
Working with adult clients since 2000
Working with children and young people bringing a wide variety of issues in a counselling setting since 2001.
Training counsellors and professionals(both for adult and children's work) since 2004 and supervisors since 2006.
Self employed as a counsellor, trainer and supervisor since 2002.

    Fees

    £35/45 per hour for counselling (individuals/couples). Students on counselling courses £30. I hold two concessionary places for low income clients in immediate need of short term work £25.
