I have substantial NHS experience as a senior Psychodynamic Psychotherapist in Bedford, Northampton and Oxford, and alongside this have an established private practice. I am able to offer open-ended work with people who have a wide range of difficulties, which may be long standing and complex.

I offer a safe, confidential, quiet place where you will not be judged, and where you can begin to make sense of what has gone wrong with your life. Through recognising and understanding your difficulties and the underlying causes, you can cope better, become more in control, and can bring about lasting change.

Usually I suggest an initial one hour consultation where you can tell me something about yourself and what has brought you to consider psychotherapy, and you can get a sense for the way I work. There is no commitment to ongoing therapy at this stage. I will let you know whether I believe psychotherapy will benefit you, and you can take your time to decide whether you feel it offers a way forward.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I have nearly 10 years experience working as an NHS Psychotherapist in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy departments, and nearly 20 years in private practice. I provide supervision to both trainee and experienced Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I am a member of the London Centre for Psychotherapy, and registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council and subscribe to their published code of ethics.
