Profile

I am a counsellor and psychotherapist accredited with the BACP and UKCP and a trainer of counselling and psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute in Ealing, London. I provide individual and group supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists. I also oversee and supervise a low cost counselling and psychotherapy service.

When clients first come, I focus primarily on understanding what is causing difficulty and seeing if I might be somebody who the client can communicate with and relate to. This is important in building trust between us. In terms of my experience, I work with many conditions, including depression, anxiety, loss, relationship difficulties, trauma and identity such as cultural, racial and sexual identities. In my approach, I draw on transactional analysis and psychoanalytical ideas using them integratively and relationally to suit my clients' needs.
