A Chartered Counselling Psychologist and Clinical Supervisor working in Nottingham and Sheffield. Jasmin relocated from London (April 2008). Working part-time for a charitable organisation and also runs a private practice. She has been working since 1999 in the field of counselling and psychology.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

Jasmin Bahia holds membership with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), and the British Psychological Society and follows their ethical working guidelines (CPsychol).

Jasmin is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and integrates 3 main psychological models within her counselling work. Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behaviouaral Therapy (CBT).

She has over ten years direct experience of working with children, young people, adults and older adults. Working with both male and female clients.

    Sliding fee scales are in operation. Lower fees are charged to Students and those on a reduced income.

    Limited weekend sessions are also available.

    Travel to places is offerred, especially in regards to group supervision and training workshops.

    The service caters for a diverse community, offering culturally appropriate counselling for different faiths and nationalities. The service is mindful of how societal ideas about family, sexualities, genders, age, class, and cultural background shape individual lives. Jasmin's approach to counselling places high importance on valuing and respecting individual difference.
