Profile

I am a professional qualified Counsellor offering counselling in a safe, confidential space, working in Central Exeter & Copplestone. I have worked in various settings including secondary primary health care, schools, voluntary agencies and in private practice. I offer counselling to individuals and couples.

My working model is Integrative, using techniques adapted from counselling approaches such as, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Rogerian and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. By using this approach it enables me to use the 'most effective' parts of a number of approaches so that the widest range of problems can be tackled, enabling my clients to be empowered helping them to make better choices for the future. I also offer creative ways of working, such as dreamwork, drawing and sandplay therapy.

I offer brief counselling or longer term therapy according to your needs and situation.

My hours are 8.00 am - 8.30 pm Mon - Fri
Sat 8.00 am - 6.00pm

    Fees

    I offer a free initial 20 minute appointment without obligation. This gives you the opportunity to see whether counselling would be a helpful way forward.

    Thereafter the fee is £30 for a regular counselling hour.

    I also offer Telephone and Email Counselling (please see website for details).

    A concession is available for students and those on a low income of £20 per hour.

    A home visit can be arranged at additional cost.

    I offer appointments in Central Exeter and Copplestone. Please contact for details and directions.

    Copplestone is approximately 12 miles from Exeter.

    Trains run between Exeter Central Station and Copplestone Station.

    There is also a regular bus service to and from Copplestone.

    My Private Practice is a short walk from the station/bus stop. Parking is available.

    Evening and weekend appointments offered in both locations.
