Profile
My aim as a counsellor is to create a safe and accepting environment where people feel safe to talk about their problems. I specialise in working with depression and have a particular interest in survivors of trauma and abuse, but I work with people from all kinds of backgrounds with a wide variety of problems. I do both short and long term counselling work. I describe myself as an integrative therapist and, where clients find it helpful, I work with Christian spirituality and how this may impact our well-being. I welcome your call or email to discuss what help you may be looking for.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I have a postgraduate diploma in counselling from S. John's Nottingham. I am accredited with the Association of Christian Counsellors. I have also trained with deep release (www.deeprelease.org.uk) and am a registered practitioner. I have more than 20 years experience as a counsellor.
