Profile
Hello, and welcome to my profile. As a counsellor I am trained to listen and help you understand more about yourself and what’s happening in your life. My warmth, empathy and honesty, coupled with skilled questioning could free you from perceiving yourself as a victim of circumstance and move you toward having a greater sense of control or choice in your everyday life.
Whether your problem is a relationship issue, bereavement, depression, or more existential, counselling can be of benefit. Research suggests that the quality of the relationship between therapist and client is the most important factor in effective outcomes. Therefore, I offer a free initial assessment that enables you to meet me, without obligation, to see if I am the right counsellor for you.
I am an integrated and humanistic counsellor. The benefit of this approach is that I can offer you what suits your need best. Everyone is an individual, and while some problems are shared, your experience of your life is unique to you.
I have been a counsellor since since 2003. I have provided counselling and psychotherapy services for organisations since then, and have been working privately since 2005. The BACP awarded me with accredited status in 2008.
I obtained my Clinical Supervision qualification in 2010.
My consulting rooms are situated in the beautiful rural surroundings of Arlington, (half way between Lewes & Eastbourne, and near to Hailsham & Polegate) and I offer day time and evening appointments.
