Hello, and welcome to my profile. As a counsellor I am trained to listen and help you understand more about yourself and what’s happening in your life. My warmth, empathy and honesty, coupled with skilled questioning could free you from perceiving yourself as a victim of circumstance and move you toward having a greater sense of control or choice in your everyday life.
I am an integrated counsellor, which means that I am experienced in many different schools of therapy. The benefit of this approach is that I can offer you what suits your need best. Everyone is an individual, and while some problems are shared, your experience of your life is unique to you.
I have been a counsellor in Brighton since 2003, and expanded my counselling service to Arlington (near Eastbourne) in 2005.
I was awarded accredited status by the BACP in May 2008.

Fees are negotiable, depending on the location you wish to see me at. I offer free initial assessment for private clients.
Further Information
I run a private counselling and psychotherapy practice, and I also accept clients on Employee Assisted Programmes. I am a registered practitioner with WPA Health Insurance and PruHealth. I also accept referrals from private psychiatrists.
I have experience of providing workshops to counsellors.
I am also the Lead Tutor at Sussex Downs College, Newhaven campus, where I teach a City & Guilds Level 3 Qualification in Community Justice (Drug & Alcohol Services)
I am a clinical supervisor in training and I currently supervise bereavement volunteers for Cruse Bereavement Services in Eastbourne.
