Profile
I specialize in weight and wellbeing coaching, rehabilitative coaching for survivors of abuse and eating disorders and eating disorder therapy. I provide a unique approach, combining professional training with my personal experience of surviving childhood abuse and subsequent recovery from eating disorders, some 20+ years ago. I offer what I couldn't find and we move forward from shadow to light, together!
I am empathetic, motivational, inspiring and supportive and understand the destructive mindset, together we challenge these negative beliefs, thoughts and behaviours and move into recovery. I use counselling skills, aspects of CBT, coaching and other professional training and my experience in private practice supporting and motivating clients for over 12 years. My unique approach is increasingly recognized as effective, drawing on the journey I have taken.
I recently featured in The Express newspaper for my work with SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) You can enjoy the Winter months and change your mood, for life!
I find my personal experience reassures, reduces fear and instills a sense of 'wonder' at what life can and will be like in recovery.
I work with Male and Female clients suffering from anorexia, bulimia, compulsive binge eating, binge eating disorder, non specific eating disorders and distress and those who are obese, compulsive/emotional eaters and yo yo dieters.
I also offer weight and well-being coaching and 'loving my years' coaching for women over 40.
I am happy to discuss your individual requirements as one size doesn't fit all. Our sessions are tailored to meet your specific needs and packages can be created. I Work from my garden room in North Bucks and I am ideally situated on the borders of Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire. I work with clients all over the UK and worldwide, miles can be crossed with ease using the telephone with email support, subject to an initial assessment. I am fully insured.
I look forward to hearing from you...
