Profile
I am an Integrative Counsellor; This means that I work using different approaches and interventions, rather than in one specific way.
I am able to encourage exploration in how we relate to others, our environment and importantly, the relationship we have with our 'self'.
I am able to provide a safe and confidential space, in which to encourage self-awareness and to look at how experiences or relationships in the past can affect the present and future.
Sometimes, life can be challenging and talk therapy is useful in recognising coping strategies and new perspectives. It can also feel a bit scary and this could be something to explore too
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I have been practising for over three years and I have met with a diversity of clients, with varying presenting problems or underlying issues and maintain a respect for uniqueness.
I have a Certificate in Counselling Skills, a Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Studies and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
I am a member of The B.A.C.P, adhering to their Code Of Ethics
I am also a Relate Counsellor, so am able to work with couples.
