Profile

If you are looking for a warm and experienced therapist with whom you can share what is currently on your mind and help you find a way forward, I can help you.

I have been practising since 2001, prior to which I was a solicitor and guest house proprietor. I found I was interested in deeper aspects of personal concerns and counselling has enabled me to learn and share what brings satisfaction to life.  I began my training with an integrative humanistic approach and moved on to concentrate on an existential stance.  This really means that I believe we all have within ourselves the potential to find fulfilling ways of living within the constraints of our own particular circumstances. I provide an opportunity for you to find that fulfilment for yourself.

I have worked with individuals, couple and groups with a range of issues including anxiety and depression, bereavement, loss, anger management, relationship difficulties, addictions, sexuality, domestic abuse, parenting.  If you want to free your potential to find meaning and positive change in an ever changing world I can offer you the space to explore your deepest concerns in a relaxed and non-judgemental context. Whether you have suffered a recent crisis or have ongoing difficulties, together we can find ways of creating a more choiceful approach to your life.

I work from a dedicated room in my own home where there is ample parking as well as being close to bus and train stations. In addition to working with adults I provide therapy for children, young people and couples.

I also run therapeutic weekend breaks for individuals and couples.    For more informationn see www.heartsinspired.co.uk
