About me

I believe in the importance of having a safe and confidential space to talk through your worries or concerns and make sense of who you are in the world. Therapy can offer you this space and support you to make those links between the here and now and the past in a safe and compassionate space.

We will spend the first session together exploring your goals for therapy and why you have chosen to come into therapy at this particular time in your life and any expectations that you have from the therapy process. There will be a review of the therapy after six sessions to ensure that you are getting from it what you need, and if there is anything that you would like to change. The therapy will very much be influenced by your involvement and engagement in the process as much as the relationship between us.

I have had extensive experience working in a psychotherapeutic capacity offering support on a range of issues, including relationships, addictions, eating issues, bereavement, anxiety and depression.

I am a specialist practitioner in Eating Disorders, enabling me to support individuals who are experiencing symptoms of Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder and Obesity.

My approach is integrative and looks at all aspects of the individuals life including psychological, social and interpersonal. I work closely with the National Centre for Eating Disorders in Surrey.

I hold you as the individual at the centre of the process at all times.
