Profile
Calm Farm Therapies is based in the Old Town, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex. We provide counselling, hypnotherapy, life-coaching, health and well-being workshops, counselling training and a whole range of other services for children across East Sussex and London. Our aims are to promote health, develop self-awareness and improve well-being through a broad range of creative, therapeutic and educational services.
Rachel Streeter is the Director of Calm Farm Therapies. She is a qualified Counsellor, Hypnotherapist and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Hynotherapy Society.
She has over ten years experience of working as a mental health practitioner, with specialist experience of bereavement, loss and trauma.
Rachel has a BA Honours degree in Music and a Diploma in Performing Arts, combining these skills in her therapeutic approach with children, young people and those with special needs through music, movement and play.
At Calm Farm Therapies, we also provide various life style and well-being workshops in Schools and Colleges. Some of the subjects covered include anti-bullying, confidence and self-esteem, teenage pregnancies and drug and alcohol problems.
We also offer a wide range of courses, awarded by the Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB), enabling progression from Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills; Level 3 Counselling Studies; through to professional qualifications at Level 4 in Therapeutic Counselling; Level 5 Psychotherapeutic Counselling; Level 5 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; and Level 6 Counselling Supervision.
