Profile
I work with individuals in a private practice in Nottingham city centre. I provide a supportive and warm environment for your therapeutic journey.
I work with individuals both long term and short term, using a "Humanistic Person-Centred" approach. This means that:
* I seek to provide warmth and empathy.
* I endeavour not to 'analyse' or judge; simply to engage in your experience with you.
* I believe that through gaining a deeper understanding of your experience we can uncover the potential for change.
Sessions are for 50 minutes at the same time every week for as long as you feel you need to.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I trained at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute, Nottingham where I gained a Masters Degree (MA) in Humanistic Person-Centred Psychotherapy.
I am a member of the Bristish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
I am a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist.

As I view people holistically and not by 'diagnosis', I work with a wide range of issues (if you are unsure whether I work with the issue you wish to explore, feel free to ask).
Fees
My fees are £30-45 per session, depending on what you can afford.
I offer the first 'taster' session at £25.

I abide by the codes of practice of the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute, the UK Council for Psychotherapy and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
