Friendly, professional and experienced Gestalt counsellor available in Richmond.

Gestalt is a word can be loosely translated as ‘whole’ or ‘complete’. As a Gestalt therapist I work with clients to help them build a sense of who they are as a complete person, exploring all the different parts that they like and may not like. In my work I take into account all that is happening in your world including your body, mind and emotions. In this we can explore what you are doing, how you are doing it, and how you can learn to accept and value yourself.
I believe that people grow and form identifies through the contact they make with others because of this I feel that the relationship between the therapist and the client is the most important aspect of being in counselling. I seek to provide a relationship where you can feel heard, understood and accepted.

I invite you to come along for a first session where we can have a chance to meet and find out about each other. At the end of this session we can agree if, and how we will work together.

I work in Richmond close to the tube/rail station.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am a qualified and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and hold an accredited BACP Diploma in Counselling and Certificate in Humanistic Counselling Skills at the Gestalt Centre, London.

As a member of the BACP I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling, and subject to their Professional Conduct Procedure.

I have experience of working with many different clients and their concerns including those listed below (see ‘Areas of counselling I deal with’) in both long and short term counselling.
