Profile
I believe that counselling helps to get a better understanding of yourself and your perception of the world around you. In the sessions I offer you a confidential, non-judgemental space, where we explore what feels difficult or confusing for you, what changes you wish to make and what choices you may have to make those changes happen.
I offer general counselling support, mainly around issues of depression, stress, anger, traumatic experiences, fertility issues, birth trauma, post-natal depression, anxiety, all types of abuse, lack of self-confidence and self-esteem, relationship difficulties, bereavement and loss.
I am an Accredited Member of BACP and in my work I am guided by the BACP Ethical Code for Good Practice. I have a valid Enhanced CRB Check Certificate to work with young people and vulnerable adults. I have full indemnity insurance.
I have worked successfully with individual adult clients and young people for several organisations and in private practice.
Beside working in my established private practice, I am Student Counsellor at the Counselling Service of the University for the Creative Arts in Maidstone.
Sessions are 50-minute long, on a weekly basis.
