Other areas of counselling I deal with
Bereavement may be sudden or it may be as a result of a long term illness, what you feel as an individual will be unique to you, I will work with you, as that individual, to help you to come to terms with your loss and work towards coping with the different way of life that you may now have to face. I also work with anticipatory grief. Loss issues may also include the loss of a much loved pet, life status or job loss.
Couples counselling to help understand how to relate to each other within the relationship. How to feel a whole person in your own right. How to learn to communicate again in a relationship when its broken down.
What happened in your childhood may be affecting you in your adult life, we can look at those issues and work towards you feeling good enough about yourself in your life today.
Working in counselling ,as an individual, will not only help to bring awareness and understanding for self but when we change ourselves we change the pattern of our communication with others.
How to deal with the past, not to worry about the future and to accept and make the most of the 'here and now'! How to love yourself and be the most important person in your life!
