I know that many people hesitate about seeing a counsellor. You may have no idea what to expect or perhaps feel your issues are too insignificant or overwhelming to deal with. However counselling provides a unique opportunity to talk in confidence to an objective empathetic person outside of your day to day world. I believe the experience of being really listened to, together with the gradual gaining of insight helps people move on in their lives.
I work from counselling rooms off the Iffley Road in Oxford.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I have a BA (hons), a Diploma in counselling Principles and Practice and am a member of the BACP and CCYP. I have worked as a secondary school counsellor in oxfordshire for four years with young people, adults, staff and families. I am a parent, a step parent and have worked as a teacher of media, film and english before re-training.
