Profile

I am an experienced counsellor with much experience in helping people with eating disorders and have additional Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) training in Eating Disorders. I practice in Cardiff near the University of Wales Hospital Heath.

I have worked within the NHS Employees Well Being Service and in the Counselling Service at Cardiff University.

I currently work within the NHS as a Primary Care Counsellor in Cardiff GP practices. This is in addition to my private practice in Cardiff supporting clients with a variety of difficulties such as Relationship issues, Depression, Anxiety, Loss issues, Stress, Low Self Esteem and Eating Disorders

I have experience of working within the NHS as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) and a Registered Sick Childrens Nurse (RSCN)

This medical experience enables me to have a good understanding of health related problems.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their Code of Ethics and complaints procedure.
