North Worcestershire Bereavement Support

North Worcestershire Bereavement Support is a charity which was set up specifically to help those who are facing bereavement or loss in the North Worcestershire Area. The Charity was formed in 1997 and volunteers were initially volunteer support workers. The charity has now developed and all the volunteers are trained counsellors or are in training.

The Charity has 15 volunteer counsellors, there is a co-ordinator and a designated supervisor to support the volunteers' work.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

Volunteers are either qualified counsellors or students on their placement year towards their formal qualification.
