My name is Trevor. I work with a varied and diverse group of clients including couple counselling. This includes working with anger management, self harm, anxiety, abuse and low self esteem.
I am trained in Mindfulness and have attended training courses with Bangor University and .B (dot B) Mindfulness in schools project.
Mindfulness is a well research method of working with our own well- being and assisting in maintaining this.
As a counsellor offering safe and secure counselling in North West Kent, on the edge of South East London. I have rooms in Sidcup, Bromley and Eltham.
I have long term experience of working with Surviours of Sexual Abuse, Domestic Abuse and Child Protection matters. I also see clients with bereavement issues.
My work includes working in a number of primary/secondary schools with young people.
I offer safe, friendly, individual or couple counselling in a confidential setting. As a member of the BACP I practice in accordance with the ethical framework.
I work in an intuitive, collaborative and integrative way, which is client, led. Allowing us to work together and at a pace to suit your needs and issues.
Creating a safe, non-judgmental environment will give you permission to articulate yourself confidentially. Allowing us to explore, and where necessary, challenge negative thoughts, feelings and perceptions that may be in place.

Mindfulness is learning to focus our awareness on the present moment, whilst acknowledging and accepting our feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations.
We learn, rather than worrying about what hashappened or might happen, to respond skilfully to whatever is happening right now, be that good or bad.
