Profile
I am an accredited Individual and Couple therapist bringing more than 20 years experience to the clients I work with. Finding a therapist that you can trust and feel safe with is vital, as the counselling relationship is core to the work we will do together.
Now that you've made the decision to explore counselling options, first ask yourself three questions that can help you decide the best course of action for you:
1. Are you feeling stuck?
2. Is your life not going where you want it to?
3. Are you ready for things to change?
I recognise the importance and influence of human relationships on every aspect of our daily lives, whether this is familiy, parental, intimate or occupational.
With counselling support, you can learn to understand the impact these various relationships have on your feelings and daily life. You may be feeling anger, abuse, depressed or even find yourself living with the painful and difficult feelings associated with bereavement.
With counselling help you can begin to recognise some negative patterns or destructive relationship issues that may have developed and at times can get in the way of creating a life that's more fulfilling for you.
At times you may find yourself feeling stuck, living with anxiety, low in energy and lacking enthusiasm.
Counselling will help you understand these challenging feelings and begin to gain some control over them.
The support that develops through counselling can be a unique opportunity for individual growth and development. And for getting you on a path toward the person you'd like to become.
By exploring past and present patterns, counselling may enable you to slowly take control of your life and start to re-discover the energy and joy you may have temporarily lost.
