Counsellor Profile
I am a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor with ten years experience in the NHS and 14 years experience in private practice. I have worked with a broad range of clients with a wide range of issues over the years. I have experience of both brief, focussed therapy and longer term working.
My aim is to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for my clients to explore their issues and a therapeutic relationship that is professional yet warm.
I work from a humanistic perspective. This means I deal with issues in the here and now in a constructive and forward -looking way, recognising that it is often important to look at how events from the past have shaped our thinking and approach to difficulties. (follow the links under the "counselling" tab at the top of this page to discover more)
You can see more about how I work by following the link to my website - www.larchwood.counselling.co.uk or you can e-mail or telephone me to discuss individual queries.
I look forward to hearing from you.
