Profile

I am an experienced, qualified BACP (Snr. Accredited Counsellor, UKRC Registered Independent Counsellor, FDAP Accredited Counsellor as well as an experienced Supervisor of Counsellors. I am also a member of Pink Therapy.

I have worked for many years with individuals and couples including LGBT clients, military personnel, offering a safe and confidential space to tentatively explore their feelings in a trusting, empathic understanding relationship, creating an opportunity for self- discovery and personal development.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I have been working as a counsellor for over 12 years in a well established private practice as well as in GP surgeries, with the Military and Armed Forces and in drug, alcohol and addiction centres as well as working with LGBT clients

I have worked as a supervisor for 5 years.
I am a BACP Snr. Accredited Counsellor,
UKRC Registered Independent Counsellor.

I hold a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. Diploma in Drug, Solvent & Alcohol Counselling. Level 4 ASSET also in Drug, Solvent and Alcohol Counselling.

I have a Certificate in Supervision of Counsellors.
I am a member of FDAP (Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals) and I am a FDAP Accredited Counsellor.
I have a Certificate in Couple Counselling including same sex partners.

Individual session ( 50 minutes) fee £30 (concessions available especially student counsellors)
Couples' session ( 60 Minutes) fee £35
Supervision fee £30 (concessions for student counsellors) First session free.
Fees are negotiable

My counselling practice is situated at Stanway Colchester in a quiet, private area and street parking is available. I am more than pleased to discuss counselling with anyone who may be unsure or concerned. I work with both short and long term clients.
