Profile
I offer a bespoke confidential service with a strong track record of positive change and reasonable rates.
My philosophy is that all people have enormous capacity for living creatively, lovingly and joyfully which are often untapped or repressed in our society. Recognising that each person is unique, and that one therapy model does not suit all, I tailor my work to meet my client’s individual needs and personality adopting an Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling approach. This means that I attend to the whole person their perceptions thoughts and feelings and physical experience working as a whole. It also means that I move flexibly among a range of approaches such as humanistic, psychodynamic, body psychotherapy and neuroscience, depending on your individual needs and personality.
I am equally concerned about personal growth and development and encouraging people to discover their potential for living as I am about those of you who have identified that you have particular problems you wish to talk about.
My sessions involve you and I meeting, talking and listening together with the mutual purpose of paying careful attention to your life and how you experience it.
Therapy is a shared process so I think it is important for me to honour your privacy and personal independence and for me to create a non-judgmental nurturing environment so that you feel comfortable enough to talk about issues that are bothering you. My role is to facilitate your work in ways that respect your values, personal resources and capacity for choice within your cultural/spiritual context and recognize how they can sometimes be at odds with your actions or how you feel day to day.
