I have been a professional in the drug and alcohol treatment field for eighteen years.
I believe in the uniqueness of the person and I am committed to finding the therapy to suit each individual need.
I offer a 'person centred' approach. Supportive and confidential sessions may also use brief intervention therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, 12 step philosophy and other approaches.

I have a Diploma in Multi-Disciplinary Studies of Drug and Alcohol Misuse and have trained in working with sexual abuse, working with anger, forgiveness, relapse prevention, aftercare and other recovery related issues.
I have a personal clinical supervisor and meet with them regularly.
I am committed to continuing personal development through training and life style change.
I am a member of the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals. I agree to and am bound by their Code of Ethics and am committed to their complaints procedure (both of these can be viewed on the FDAP website).

Fees
Assessment will usually take between an hour and a half and two hours and costs £50.00.
Subsequent sessions will be of one hour duration, usually once a week.
Hourly fees are negotiable, in the region of £50.00 but on a sliding scale according to individual circumstances.
