I am an Integrative Psychotherapist. Integrative Therapists are unique, in that we are trained to a high standard in more than one therapeutic approach, allowing us to tailor treatment to you and your needs
The integrative approach recognises that many of the problems, that affect our lives, and are difficult to change, can be traced back to the unconscious part of the mind. I am trained to listen carefully, and at a deeper level, to help you understand your unconscious patterns of relating. This will help you to gain clarity, and resolve those thoughts and feelings that are holding you back.
Treatment will always be tailored to you and your specific needs, hopes and goals. Therapy with me will often take a more active, directive approach rather than a non-directive, listening only approach.
I am an accredited member with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) www.bacp.co.uk . I am also a member of COSRT (College of Sex and Relationship Therapists www.cosrt.org. Both organisations place an emphasis on ethics, including confidentiality.
