I know that coming to therapy for the first time can feel daunting. I also know that spending money to find out whether you have found the right therapist for you, can create a barrier and a pressure. With this in mind I am offering a FREE initial consultation with anyone interested in exploring counselling or psychotherapy with me. This isn't either an assessment or a therapy session, but an opportunity to ask questions, tell me about your issues, and learn a little about my approach to the work. This consultation will last 30 minutes.
I want you to get a sense, of how it would feel to work together. If we agree, we are a good fit, we will proceed to arranging a first session.
I am an accredited member with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) www.bacp.co.uk . I am also a member of COSRT (College of Sex and Relationship Therapists www.cosrt.org. Both organisations place an emphasis on ethics, including confidentiality.
