Counsellor Profile

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and a UKCP Registered Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist. I work with both individuals and couples.

I also offer supervision.

I use psychoanalytic therory to draw links between the past and the present in an attempt to understand uncounscious roots in present day thoughs and behaviours.

1990 I obtained a Relate Certificate in Relationship Counselling
1997 I completed a Masters degree in Counselling at University of Keele.
1997 I optained a Post Grad.Certificate in Supervision.
2000 - 2007 I trained in Contemporary Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.

I am a BACP Accreditied Counsellor and a UKCP Resgistered Psychotherapist.
I subscribe to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice, and the WMIP Code of Ethics of Practice.

I worked as a counsellor in the NHS for several years working with stressed Doctors. I have worked in private practice for 12 years.
