Profile

I practice in both Central Nottinghamshire (New Ollerton) and also in Nottingham City (NG1). I specialise in addictions i.e alcohol, drugs and gambling and associated psychological disorders such as anger, depression and anxiety. My practice is central to Nottingham, Mansfield, Newark, Worksop and Retford. My aim is to provide a non-judgemental, safe and confidential environment for you to explore painfull and emotional difficulties.
I work with a diverse range of issues including addiction which has been a major part of my work over the past ten years.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I studied & trained at the University of Nottingham and achieved a Masters Degree in Counselling.
I am a Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherpy (BACP).
I am an Accredited Member of the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Practitioners (FDAP).
I am registered with UKRC as an independent Counsellor.
I have worked in both the Criminal Justice system and Community as a counsellor and addictions therapist for approximately 10 years.
I also work with family members/loved ones of those experiencing the illness of addiction.
As a member of BACP and FDAP I adhere to their 'Ethical Framework' and work within their 'Guidelines for Good Practice'.

Fees

I charge from £35 per 60 minute session with possible concessionary places available.
A fee of £40 covers the first administrative and introductory 90 minute session.

Further Information

I am available for sessions during the day or evenings inc. weekends.
