Farnham Natural Therapy Centre
Are you looking for a counsellor in Farnham or a counsellor in Haslemere?
The thought of entering into counselling can be unsettling. There are a great many unknowns, and taking the decision to commit to weekly sessions to share often difficult and painful experiences can feel overwhelming.
This is something that I both recognise and understand, and I am committed to providing helpful, supportive and confidential counselling designed to meet and support your needs.
I am a friendly and professional counsellor registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). Working with young people and adults, I have worked with many people helping them to explore their feelings and find effective ways of coping with a wide range difficulties for over 12 years in private practice.
I have also worked for 12 years with people whose lives have been affected by Eating Disorders, both in inpatient Eating Disorder units and in the community offering one to one sessions and groups for suffers as well as offering support for families, careers and partners.
Areas I have worked with include:
Eating disorders - Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge eating disorder, Over-eating
Sexual, physical and emotional abuse
Panic attacks or other symptoms caused by stress and anxiety
Lack of confidence, anxiety or generally feeling unable to cope
Feeling depressed and unhappy
Struggling with work related issues
Coping with emotional or sexual difficulties
Concerns about health
Managing a bereavement
I am part of a wide network of counsellors and organisations and if I am not the right person to help you I will endeavour to offer you referral suggestions and support you in accessing the care and support you need elsewhere.
I operate an equal opportunity policy and do not discriminate against individuals on the basis of age, marital status, physical disability, gender, sexual orientation, race, social origins, political or religious beliefs.
Session fees are £50, limited concessions are available depending on your financial circumstances. I am able to offer daytime and evening appointments Monday to Friday and currently have appointments available in both Haslemere and Farnham.
If you think I may be able to help, or you have some questions, please contact me. There is no need for a referral; contact and sessions are all held in strictest confidence, and you are under no obligations to proceed.
If you would like to discuss any concerns you are having, or have questions you would like to explore, please do get in touch.
