Hello and welcome to my profile, I am a member of the British Association Of Counsellors and Pyschotherapists and a fully qualified counsellor
My experience also includes:
7 years experience as a counsellor
· Over 25 years in industry in Personnel Management
· Working as a volunteer with Samaritans
· Counselling adolescents at a drop in centre for young peple
· Counselling adults attached to the Citizens Advice Bureau in Romsey
· Counselling Students at Solent University
· Private practice in West Wellow counselling both adults and young people on a wide range of issues.
Counselling young people in a range of settings for Relate in Portsmouth normally via webcam
· I am a mother/stepmother to four children
· I am a warm and caring person who has a real empathy for others and a good sense of humour
· I have had considerable success in helping people to overcome anxiety, lift depression, relieve stress, cope with bereavement, manage anger, increase self esteem and improve their relationships.
I use a range of methods to help my clients including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Mindfulness
