Counsellor Profile

I feel the most important factor in counselling is the relationship between the client and counsellor.I believe that everyone is special and I celebrate each persons uniquenes.

I'm a Humanistic counsellor, CRB, checked. I work within the BACP guidlines with regular supervision

I have with experience working with adults and adolescents at Tresham College and Mind. I also support students with learning difficulties and help with communication skills.

I see people from 14 upwards.

I have experience with a wide range of issues including PTSD, anxiety and depression and understand the stresses of running a small business for 20 years.

I have experience using relaxation and visualisation techniques. I view people as holistic and not a collection of symptoms

I'm situated in a quiet discreet location in a calm relaxing therapy room.

I decided to train to become a counsellor after suffering with PTSD and having extensive counselling myself, which helped me turn my life around.
I'm in my forties divorced and living with a partner
