Counsellor Profile

After working as in Integrative counsellor in private practice for over ten years I have become increasingly interested in interpersonal relationship and conflict resolution. I now work exclusively with couples and people in all types of relationship.
I am particularly influenced in my work by Marshall Rosenberg's process of Non Violent Communication - see www.cnvc.org - and by Imago Relationship Therapy - see www.GettingTheLoveYouWant.com
Both of these are practices which I have found transformative in my personal as well as in my professional life.

Selfheal (Humanistic) Therapy Training 1990
Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling 1995

I update my training on an ongoing basis and in particular have attended courses in Counselling in Primary Care, Non Violent Communication, Mediation, Behavioural Systems Couple Therapy and Imago Relationship Therapy.
