Counsellor Profile

Often in life, we may find ourselves in situations that are difficult to manage. My aim is to support you in exploring your thoughts and feelings by providing a warm, safe, empathic and confidential space, where you will not be judged or told what to do.

I work relationally, believing that healing can be obtained through the therapeutic alliance.

My mobile number is always available and I will endeavour to contact you at the first availble opportunity. I appreciate that making intial contact can be difficult. After the first session I would suggest meeting for 4-6 sessions, when we would then review our work together and decide whether to continue.

I am a counsellor trained to Post Graduate Level, and currently in advanced clinical training

As well as Private Practice, I have five years experience with Cruse Bereavement care, where I see clients, supervisees and sit on the management Committee.

I also have certs. and attended courses on Cognitive Behavoural Therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming, In Depth Therapy The Child Within, Cruse Bereavemnt Care Course, Cruse Supervision Course, Working with Grief and Traumatic Events around Grief.
