Counsellor ProfileAs a counsellor I work with adults and young people. I hold a firm belief that every person is individual, and has the potential to fully realise their unique qualities. My intention is to provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for us to explore the issues affecting you. I aim to support you in discovering your inner resources and the best way forward for you.
I work in a professional, friendly environment, offering both long and short term counselling. I have experience of working with people from all walks of life.
As a member of BACP I abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy which can be found at www.bacp.co.uk/ethical_framework.
Research shows that it is the quality of the relationship between client and counsellor that effects the most client change. I am therefore happy to talk to you before you decide if you would like to arrange an initial visit.
The nature of my work means that I am often unable to answer my phone; please leave me a brief message with a number I can reach you on and I will return your call as soon as I can. Alternatively you can email me and I will contact you as soon as I can, usually within 24 hours.
