Counsellor Profile

I am an experienced and professional counsellor, having pactised for the last eight years. I work from a relationship perspective, drawing on the major counselling theorectical frameworks, to the needs of each individual client. I am a member of British Association for Counselling & Psychotherpy (BACP) and hold BACP accreditation as a counsellor/psychotherapist. I am also a UKRC Registered Independent Counsellor and a member of the Association for Counselling at Work (ACW). I work with individuals on both a short and long term basis, usually weekly or fortnightly. I practice from a quiet, private clinic, set back from the main road, yet conveniently located in central Fareham.

Training, Qualifications & Experience (more info)

I would describe myself as an Integrative practitioner, holding a 1st class honours degree in Integrative Counselling, a Diploma in Gestalt Counselling and a Person Centered RSA Certificate. Extra Information

The initial session I have with a client is an assessment. This is an oppotunity for us to explore what has brought the individual to counselling and their expectations of the process. We ascertain whether counselling is an appropriate intervention and check out if we are comfortable working together.
