Hi and welcome to my profile . I am a member of the British association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists .(BACP ) fully qualified , fully Insured person centred counsellor / psychotherapist . I hold a Diploma in counselling and also a Diploma in Hypnopsychotherapy and an advanced certificate in therapeutic hypnosis . I also hold a Diploma in Ayurvedic Indian head massage. I studied my counselling training at St Helens college and Hypnotherapy training at Salford College. . . I work from a person centred theoretical base but integrate this when neccesary with other models to suit and benefit my clients needs .
I consider myself a warm , grounded , approachable person. I am married with a grown up family and a wealth of life experiences .

I currently work for PSS which is a social care Organisation. I hold an enhanced CRB disclosure. I am privelaged to have worked with people from all walks of life and I feel that my NHS background has provided me with a foundation for understanding the diversity of peoples life experiences .
I currently work part time with people experiencing Post natal depression within PSS as well as offering a generic counselling service both at PSS and in my private practice .

£30.00 per Therapeutic hour. Confidential one to one counselling.
Initial counselling session offered at £15.00 .
Couple Counselling .£ 45.00 per therapeutic hour with Initial couple counselling session offered at £22.50
Hypnotherapy sessions £40.00
Evening appointments available . Also some day time appointments are available .

My private practice provides my clients with a warm and welcoming , completely confidential, protective space in a calm setting to help them explore their world of experience . Clients have varying needs when coming for counselling as each person is unique , however they are generally looking to live their life in a more fully functioning , harmonious way . Often the counselling relationship can be the first time my clients have experienced a non judgemental , genuine , empathic , confidential and safe space in which they can explore their thoughts and feelings and gain a greater understanding and respect for who they are today. Counselling will help you unravel , make more sense of and where neccesary let go of past issues , be more accepting of your present world of experience and help you emerge feeling more self aware to deal with your future . I am a member of BACP and abide by their code of ethics. I would encourage you to find a therapist that you feel comfortable with as I wholeheartedly believe in the therapeutic relationship between counsellor and client being a main component for positive change .

My private practice is situated in a quiet location half a mile from junction 6 off the M62 . half a mile to M57 and knowsley expressway . Central to Childwall , Belle Vale and links to prescot , St Helens , Widnes , Speke , Halewood . private parking is available . Disabled access is available .
