I offer supervision to qualified and trainee counsellors and psychotherapists either one to one or in groups.
I also offer supervision and training to supervisors and trainers. Individual supervision is available face to face or via Skype. I do not offer clinical work with clients at the moment.
Just so you know a bit about me - I would describe myself as an Integrative Humanistic Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Supervisor, using a combination of the Person Centred approach with Transactional Analysis. I have been working as counsellor / psychotherapist since 1995 initially in the voluntary sector then in private practice. I have been offering supervision since 2002.
In 2006 I began undertaking research into trainees experiences of their counselling and psychotherapy training. Since then I have written a book What You Really Need to Know About Counselling and Psychotherapy Training: An Essential Guide which was published by Routledge in 2014. The book is mainly aimed at trainees who are considering training and it is also useful for trainers of counsellors and psychotherapists.
I am offering the following groups:

I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy as an Integrative Psychotherapist, and as a Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist.
I started my counselling work in 1995, and have since worked in various voluntary and family planning organisations. I have been self-employed since 1998. I also undertake work within the N.H.S., Social Services and Employee Assistance Programmes, and for agencies within the statutory and voluntary sectors. I was a lecturer at Cornwall College for two counselling courses before leaving, in 2005, to set up my own Transactional Analysis training programme. I trained people who have expressed an interest in understanding more about the theory of T.A., and for those who wish to be, or who already were, counsellors and psychotherapists. Then I developed my training programme, in addition to offering TA training I also offered an integrated humanistic psychotherapy training programme. The course integrated the Person Centred approach with TA and other theories to give a broad, flexible base to work with all clients. The course was awarded University approval in 2010 by Birmingham City University. Courses led to UKCP registration.
Since moving from Cornwall to Liverpool I have set up a supervision and training consultancy and host continuing professional development workshops for counsellors and psychotherapists as well as offering individual and group supervision. See the website for full details.
