Counsellor Profile

I see the relationship between client and counsellor as being at the heart of this work. I aim to create a safe space where difficult issues can be worked on in a creative yet contained manner.

As a psychodynamic counsellor, I feel that past experiences and ways of relating to others may have an effect, (perhaps at unconscious level), on how we are in the present.

Experienced in working in both the drugs/substance misuse field & in general practice; & in both short term focused & long term open ended work.

Also trained in life coaching and telephone counselling.

My qualifications are:-
-BSc Psychology
-BSc(Econ) Social Philosophy
-Diploma in Counselling (Person-centred)
-Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling

    As a Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, (MBACP), I am bound by its ethical framework for good practice in counselling & psychotherapy & subject to the professional conduct procedure for the time being in force.
