I fully understand that this may be a huge step for some people to even be looking for counselling. I appreciate you may feel apprehensive at what to expect from a person me, you have not met and will be talking about very personal issues.
So I shall take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself and my services. I am trained as a Person-centred therapeutic counsellor. I will not offer advice but the through working with you in an accepting, safe and non judgemental environment, this will enable you to explore and experience your inner thoughts and feelings.
I can offer short or long term counselling.

I offer individual counselling, or couples. Example of couple counselling is either a male and female, bisexual relationships. Parents and children, siblings who are experiencing difficulties, etc.

I am a registered member of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work within their code of ethics.
I am fully insured with Towergate indemnity insurance.
I have an up to date CRB check.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor with a Diploma, obtained under University of Essex.
I work with self-referred clients and GP referrals with-in the primary care trust.(PCT)
I work at MIND Organisation (for better Mental Health) Where I counsel one to one clients, also I have faciltated Group sessions for anxiety and depression and anger. Where Cognitive behavioural therapy techniques (CBT) are used.
I also have had over two years experience working at Youth Enquiry Service Counselling 11 to 25 years.

I am regularly attending PPD workshops. (Personal professional development).
i.e Drugs and alcohol addictions,Child protection,safeguarding children and young adults, Ethical framework for (BACP), Therapy art interactive play. Bullying.
Couple counselling.

I have regular supervision, this I feel is very important to me. That I am giving my clients a professional service with them in my interest.

Fees

I can offer you a meeting in my private comfortable practice. My initial consulations fee is FREE OF CHARGE.
I feel that the first meeting is very important and understand how this can feel for some people to make that first step. I take the opportunity of this meeting for us to discuss your needs for counselling, and as a counsellor what I can offer you.

The fees for sessions are,
£30 Individual
£45 Couples

All service requirements can be discussed and tailored to your needs.
Sessions are on a weekly basis, fifty minutes for individuals and one hour for couple counselling.
Sometimes in couple work I at some point if needed see the couples on a one to one arrangement during our couple work. The fee is £30.00 per per session.

I am situated in the main High Street, there is a pay and display car park in the Co-op.
