Jacqueline Rose MBACP

Profile

I am a humanistic counsellor who works holistically with the individual and the issues they raise.  By seeing your wellbeing as a journey in personal development, you take a positive approach to problems - your biggest obstacles become your greatest tools for learning and growth.  Talking with a counsellor enables this personal process towards long lasting change with the aim of enhancing your life.

Counselling and Psychotherapy is a process that needs energy, commitment and time. For those clients who are short of time I offer flat fee time limited programmes lasting 6 weeks. These are suitable for dealing with specific issues such as stress, anxiety and panic attacks. Typical issues include Depression, Domestic Violence, Low Self Esteem, Stress Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Work Issues,  Relationship Issues and Anger.

I work with Adults and Adolescents from a private and comfortable room in Fetcham. This is easily reached via the M25 and A3.

I work with my clients on an individual basis tailoring my approach to suit their needs.  Specific Therapeutic approaches that I find particularly useful are, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis (TA), Person Centred Approach, Gestalt, Solution Focussed Short Term Therapy and more creative ways of working with clients to enable insight and change.

I am happy to work with clients on a long term open ended basis dealing with a variety of issues or on a short term basis where we focus on more specific issues.  At our first meeting we can discuss your specific requirements and needs.
