UKCP and BACP registered, I offer therapy to those seeking to deal with issues such as low self esteem, repeated patterns of difficult relationships, anxiety and depression. As an accredited psychoanalytic psychotherapist I can work with adults on a fixed term or on open-ended basis and can provide couple counselling.
I offer psychodynamic supervision to colleagues (SIHR accredited), and am trained as an EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprogramming), a modality used for PTSD.

These aims can be summarised as '...to facilitate the growth of individuals in their sense of themselves, their relationships, their workplaces, and cultural environments through the application of psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, and systemic ideas.'

Fees
Local fees for private therapeutic work - valid until December 2011
£45 per consultation for individuals (50 minutes)
£67.50 for assessment (first, extended, appointment)
£60 for couples consultation (60 minutes)
£90 for couples assessment (first, extended, appointment)

An assessment process is offered to ensure that as informed a decision as possible can be made about the psychodynamic approach and whether it is likely to be helpful to the individual.
