Counsellor Profile

I practice a form of counselling called Humanistic Counselling. The focus of this therapy is on you and what you bring to the sessions. For my part I offer you an environment that is open, honest and non judgemental. I believe that we are all unique people and deserve to lead a life as fulfilling and filled with positive choices as possible. Counselling can help you to create these possibilities and begin the journey to reach your full potential. I work with emotions, beliefs, thoughts and behaviours to help create a full and holistic understanding of where you are now and help you to find insight into creating the future you want. Counselling is by no means an easy option however to those who want to live an authentic life that concentrates on the positive then this therapy can truly be a life changing decision to undertake.

I counsel within an agency which takes self referrals and also GP referrals which has given me experience of working with a wide range of issues.

I am also qualified in hypnotherapy and would be pleased to answer any questions you may have about this therapy.

Fees

£30 for an hour counselling session.
£35 for hypnotherapy per session (these sessions may last slightly longer at no extra charge dependant on the presenting issues)

Extra Information

I have recently gone into practice with a partner so that we can offer the choice of a male or female therapist.
I am CRB checked.
I work within the BACP code of ethics.
