Counsellor Profile

I offer individual psychodynamic counselling in the South Birmingham area and see people weekly or twice weekly. I offer brief work (6 sessions) or open-ended counselling and work with a wide range of people.

Training, Qualifications & Experience (more info)

I trained at ChildLine and Nottingham Counselling Service before completing an MA in Psychodynamic Counselling at the University of Birmingham. I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and registered with the United Kingdom Register of Counsellors and Pscyhotherapists.

My experience ranges from working as a Counselling Supervisor with ChildLine for over seven years; counselling adults on a voluntary basis; working as a University Counsellor; and delivering professional training to counsellors.

In order to ensure that I maintain the highest professional standards I am committed to continuing my professional and personal development through regular consultation with a more experienced practitioner (supervision) and further training. I have had considerable personal therapy.
