About me

I have been working successfully with individuals, couples, and families in private practice for over seventeen. My approach is warm, authentic and collaborative. I am continually inspired by the courage and commitment that couples show in EFT.

WHAT IS EFT

Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy is a caring and supportive way of getting out of those 'stuck places' we are all familiar with and into secure loving relationships.

An EFT Therapist will help you feel safe so that you can both begin to share your concerns and hopes for your relationship. Your therapist will follow a well-researched map of how to help couples change and will guide you on this journey.

There has been a lot of research on EFT and it shows that it is a very effective therapy for couples. One study found that more than 70% of couples in EFT went from being distressed in their relationship to being happy, and 90% felt that their relationship was significantly improved. Perhaps, more importantly, the results were the same two years after they had finished therapy.

TESTIMONIAL

'My husband and I had been married for a year when we first started coming to couples sessions, we were on the verge of separating but the sessions have helped us immensely, we now communicate better, listen to each other and have far more patience and tolerance for one another. We treat the sessions as time and money invested once every 6 weeks or so in our relationship and find it hugely valuable even when things are going well. All couples would benefit from some concentrated time looking at their relationship in a constructive and supportive environment'. Mr and Mrs B
