I am an Accredited Counsellor.

Deciding which counsellor to choose is extremely Important, and yet so difficult without meeting or speaking to the person.

That is why I offer a free consultation; for our first meeting, this will give you and I the chance to have a brief session to decide if we feel that our working together would be beneficial to you.

As a counsellor I feel that I am in an extremely privileged position, the fact that another human being will try and open up their feelings to me, never allows me to forget that I am in an honoured position.

I have worked with a few different agencies which include, Mental Health, Drug, Alcohol, and substance misuse agencies, I also work with Education authorities, which has given me the opportunity to work with a vast variety of issues and age groups.

I teach Counselling skills and Theory at Tresham College, I work as a Clinical Supervisor for other Counsellors privately, and I am regularly hired by agencies to supervise their staff.

Certificate in psychological contact in relation to self harm
Started training to become a qualified counsellor in 1996.
I am taking a supervision course at warwick uni at the moment so will soon be adding this to the qualifications.(Course is now completed)
