Profile

Sometimes it can feel as if life is a complete muddle and it can be difficult to know who to turn to. We would all like to live more fruitfully, and form good relationships, but for various reasons, our own resources sometimes become blocked and it becomes difficult to see the way ahead out of difficulties, and we can find ourselves repeating patterns of behaviour which don't help us.
Working together with a qualified and supportive counsellor can help you to have a clearer understanding of what may be going on in your world, and to find a way forward which is right for you.
I have a private counselling practice in Broadstone, Dorset, which is easily accessible from Poole, Wimborne, Bournemouth and surrounding areas. I see individual clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, work stress, loss, bereavement and difficulties with relationships in the family and with others.
I use various techniques and methods in my work, according to the needs of the individual client, and the focus of the work. With short term clients I might use an integrative/cognitive behavioural approach, and for those who come for longer term counselling, an integrative/psychodynamic approach.
