Profile

Are you finding it hard to cope at the moment,  feeling stressed or anxious, having difficulty in your relationships with others? Perhaps you have suffered a bereavement or other loss recently and find that life is a struggle. Friends and family can often be very supportive, but, sometimes it can be difficult to talk to those closest to us about the things that are concerning us the most.

Working together with a experienced and supportive counsellor can help you to have a clearer understanding of what is be going on in your world, and to find a way forward which is right for you and discover your inner resources and strengths.

I have a private counselling practice in a quiet location in Broadstone, Dorset, which is easily accessible from Poole, Wimborne, Bournemouth and surrounding areas. I see individual clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, work stress, loss, bereavement and difficulties with relationships in the family and with others.

I use various counselling approaches in my work, according to the needs of the individual client, and the focus of the work. With clients who come for a specific fixed time I might use an integrative/cognitive behavioural approach, and for those who come for longer term counselling, an integrative/psychodynamic approach.

I offer a free initial session of 30 minutes so that we can meet and discuss what kind of counselling would be appropriate for you, and for you to ask me any questions you might have about counselling. Please phone or email me and we can then set up the initial appointment as soon as possible.
