Profile

I am a qualified and experienced psychodrama practitioner who works with individuals and groups., When clients come to me they can be confident that I will deal with them professionally yet with empathy. My objective is to help people live fully and in good health. I began my working life as a general nurse and became deeply interested in the power of psychodrama and action methods during the course of my career

Psychodrama is a group and individual psychotherapy and further details can be seen at the BPA web site www.psychodrama.org.uk

My role is diverse: I'm a presence, brings freshness to situations, problems and experiences and sees humour in life as well as pathos. I am intuitive, have fertile curiosity, much creative energy.

My work is empowering: I create a safe space into a place where anything, including the impossible, can happen! I invite inside thoughts to become visible, so that they can be explored. The psychodramatic bodywork training also enables me to help you to access your underused emotions.

I work from my home in Brookhouse near Lancaster; there is a good bus service; My consulting room and facilities have their own entrance and is separate and private within the house.

Further Information

Who is a psychodrama group for

Psychodrama is for everyone and anyone who would like to experience the spontaneity and 'magic' of working with action methods. Whether your focus is personal, professional, therapy or training, if you're interested in the creative exploration of yourself, your relationships and your life using action as well as words, then you might value and enjoy the psychodramatic method and the personal liberations, self expression and insights that it elicits.

Using drama, and your own creativity and playfulness, Annot can help you to explore your past, present and future to gain insight and make changes. Although Psychodrama is best known as a group therapy it is also a powerful method for 1:1 work. Whether working individually or in a group, learning new ways of being and doing gives you new freedom from old patterns. Developing your spontaneous self helps you to respond to life in new ways. Psychodrama can be deep and moving, and it can also be a lot of fun!
