Counsellor Profile

In practice for 20 years, I have worked with various agencies, and I now see clients privately and have been trained in all aspects of counselling. Confidentiality is vital in my practice. I am a member of BACP and share in their codes of practice. I am also a member of FDAP ( Federation of drug and alcohol counsellors), and am one of the few certified Reality Therapists in the country. I work with the client in the way that suits them the best and have been trained in humanistic, person centred, psychodynamic and CBT. I believe the well being of the client is the most important part of the process, and always focus on building a trusting relationship, where a client can feel safe. I also offer supervision to other counsellors and have done so for many years.
