Counsellor Profile

Individual/couples counselling and psychotherapy in practices in London SW1 and W10.

I am an experienced practitioner and have succesfully worked with people to: identify what is important to them in their lives, explore feelings, thoughts and behaviours troublesome to them and work through unresolved issues from the past.

I offer safe and confidential support for you to explore 'here and now' difficulties and patterns of behaviour - Why do I keep doing that? Why am I always feeling like this?'

Both long-term or short-term personal therapy are available, depending on your needs.

The type of psychotherapy I work with is based on Transactional Analysis, which incorporates elements of CBT. I personalise sessions to individual clients based on their needs.

Training, Qualifications & Experience (more info)

I have completed advanced training in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and also hold a Practitioner Certificate in Clinical Assessment.

I am a member of ITA and EATA and of a UKCP registered organisation. I abide by the UKCP's code of ethics.

I am committed to ongoing professional development and have training in family mental health and child protection issues, including: The impact of domestic abuse on families, substance mis-use and mental health problems in families. I am also an experienced trainer and mentor and have for worked many years in this field.

Fees

My fee is £45 for a 50 minute session. Sessions are weekly and always at the same time.

As sessions are set aside for specific clients, you will be expected to pay for appointments you do not attend.
